The name Fulham Pier is inspired by American style waterside boarded walkways. It was always the aim to link the riverside path after 150 years with a community board walk.
We are encouraging visitors to use public transport where possible. The site is well served by local bus and Tube routes, with walking access via green spaces and the riverside. There is no parking on site.
Our aim is to have an environment at Fulham Pier that caters to our local residents as well as overnight guests. Due to having a hotel onsite, we are always mindful of keeping our guests happy. There will be live music at night on certain evenings; in these instances, we will provide temporary event notices.
We have conducted environmental surveys (tree protection & wildlife) and worked with the PLA (Port of London Authority) on river health and wildlife. We are limiting the impact of the development as much as we can.
We want Fulham Pier and its surroundings to be clean, tidy and well-maintained. We also have a local initiative that executes litter picks in the local area which is under review. We will continue to monitor this issue with the local authorities and will take the necessary action if required.
At Fulham Pier, we are committed to fostering a greener future through sustainable practices – from implementing clean energy initiatives to promoting the circular economy.
We have a duty to manage the safety of our guests and to prevent drunken and antisocial behaviour. We have an extensive security team that will ensure this happens.
You cannot access Bishops Park after dusk (times vary throughout the year). After this, you can access the site via Stevenage Road or directly from the riverside walkway (Thames Path).
We are providing 250 new jobs and we encourage applicants from the local boroughs and communities.

Almost all areas are accessible to children and we welcome families and young people. We are running several events for young people as part of our programming. There is limited access in the members’ club and spa.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the site.
There is nothing defined as yet, but we plan to encourage local residents to use our site as much as possible. Watch this space for more information, but we hope to create a loyalty card scheme for locals.
We welcome engagement and applications from local charities to use our spaces.
We are an inclusive employer who welcomes applicants with special needs and any other disabilities. We also endeavour to make reasonable adjustments.
