A new and exciting opportunity awaits an experienced hospitality professional to join our team and assume the newly created position of Beverage Manager for the Lighthouse Social private members club.

Lighthouse Social is a dynamic private members’ club, home to an inspiring and diverse community. With all-day dining, a rich cultural calendar, and an exciting entertainment programme, this exclusive club will play a vital role in shaping Fulham’s social scene.

Located within the newly developed Fulham Pier, a lively space celebrated for its stunning location and laid-back charm, Lighthouse Social promises unforgettable experiences at the heart of South-West London.

As Beverage Manager you will bring your passion for top-tier service and beverage excellence to Lighthouse Social, a premium members-only environment. You’ll oversee all aspects of beverage service, ensuring that every member enjoys high-quality drinks, from bespoke cocktails to fine wines, while maintaining a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere. You will lead the beverage team, curate exceptional drink offerings, and with your leadership and creativity you will enhance the overall member experience at this exceptional venue.

Main responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day beverage operations within the members club, ensuring seamless service and high-quality beverage offerings.
  • Lead and motivate the beverage team, providing training and guidance to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Monitor the preparation and presentation of all beverages, ensuring they meet the required standards of quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality beverages and maintain adequate stock levels, ensuring timely ordering and efficient inventory management.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and manage the ordering process to minimise waste and control costs.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and hygiene standards, maintaining a safe environment for staff and members.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and respond to member feedback, implementing improvements to enhance the beverage experience.
  • Assist in planning and executing exclusive events and promotions for members, ensuring successful and engaging beverage service.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between food and beverage service.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a talented beverage team
  • Design and develop innovative beverage menus, reflecting member preferences
  • Maintain strict compliance with licensing laws, health, and safety regulations

The ideal candidate

It is essential that you have previous experience of working as a Beverage Manager in a busy high-end establishment. You will have the confidence and panache to manage beverage offerings in a way that contributes to the overall atmosphere of Lighthouse Social, providing an elegant service to all guests.

Proven experience managing front-of-house beverage teams is essential, as is strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential as you will be focused on building strong relationships with customers stakeholders and employees.

Above all, you will have the drive an ability to lead and manage the beverage team to provide a service to clients that expect only the best.

You will also have:

  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards in a hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience training and mentoring employees.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.

We offer a salary of £30,000 to £40,000 plus excellent benefits that include:
